New Year's Fireworks Season Is Here!

New Year’s Fireworks Season Is Here!

On Dec. 24, kids around the world will be looking skyward for any sign of Santa and his sleigh. Fireworks fans, however, are a different breed.

They’re looking forward to Dec. 31, that glorious night when they look skyward not for St. Nick, but for the brilliant fireworks displays that celebrate the new year.

With that in mind, we want to remind you of a few things about the New Year’s shipping season, which, on our end, has already begun — we’ve been shipping NYE orders since Black Friday.

Order Early: There are Fewer Days to Ship

Our biggest notice for our customers this year is that you have fewer days to ship. Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s fall on the weekend, which means freight carriers will be observing those holidays during the week.

Also, don’t forget your region’s shipping cutoff times. We’ve put together a color-coded map to help you know what your specific deadline is:

Shipping Cutoffs for New Year's Eve Delivery

Most states on the Eastern seaboard, New England and as far west as Illinois, Missouri and East Texas can get their orders shipped by Dec. 27 or 28, except for Maine (Dec. 22).

If you want to know more about our shipping policies, head to our wholesale shipping page. Keep in mind that we only ship orders of at least $1,000. If you’re in Florida and want to stop by our retail store, we’ll be adding a post in the next week or so about store hours leading up to NYE.

Shout-Outs to Our Customers Across the Country

It’s pretty amazing how devoted our fellow fireworks enthusiasts are.

We’re in sunny Florida, where weather is mild to warm on New Year’s, but our hats go off to those braving freezing temperatures farther north. We appreciate our faithful customers from states like New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Montana, Washington, and other northern states who are willing to brave the chill to put on amazing shows.

We especially want to brag on true die-hards in Alaska. New Year’s Eve is their big fireworks holiday, because the sun shines nearly 24 hours a day in many parts on July 4th, making it tough to enjoy a true backyard show. Fireworks lovers in the Great White North take full advantage of December’s darkness, though, and we’re happy to help!

Stay Tuned for New Products…

Over the next few weeks we’re going to tell you about some exciting new products we’re featuring in 2017. We think you’re going to love what’s ahead for your July 4th show.
